I'm the founder of MRU Writing, and have been writing professionally for nearly a decade.
After graduating from the University of Iowa with an English degree and a concentration in writing, I began working for a corporate website building company. I worked with hundreds of clients during my time there, but found that the strict rules weren't letting me give the best possible service to the people I was writing websites for.
Since 2017, I've been providing no-code website design, copy, and social media management for small- to medium-sized businesses and nonprofits! I focus on businesses and organizations owned or run by traditionally under-served communities, like BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women-owned, disability-owned, etc.
