Since 1984, SARTA has been providing support, training, and celebrations to the Sacramento area theatre community.
However, with COVID shutting down the ELLY Awards, the board at SARTA realized it was time to refocus, rebrand, and bring new meaning to their stated purpose:
"To develop and facilitate effective communication within the Alliance, our members, and our community, and to serve as a resource-sharing and networking site offering information, support, training, and arts education opportunities to cultivate the appreciation of theater as an artistic medium."
SARTA approached MRU Writing with an ask: could I help them update their website to be user-friendly, easy to navigate, and easy to manage with an all-volunteer team?
I did them one better: I upgraded their website and helped them create a branded, recognizable social media presence.
Project 1
This project had several unique challenges and the results were outstanding across the board. Memorable, colorful and exciting.
Working with Sarah has been a pleasure. She certainly knows all the ins and outs of website development and helped streamline our social media communications. She is familiar with other online platforms such as Twitch, Facebook, and Instagram, which has helped SARTA expand our audience. She has a passion for community theatre and non-profits and I would recommend Sarah without hesitation.
